I am very excited to be premiering this new work for solo bassoon by Miya Masaoka at the 2021 TIME:SPANS festival!

“Co-Presented by TIME:SPANS and The Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

The compositions premiered in these performances were commissioned for the EMPAC High-Resolution Modular Loudspeaker Array for Wave Field Synthesis. This instrument allows us to place sounds in space in a unique way for both composers and listeners.
