I’m going to be teach contemporary bassoon techniques from entire range of bassoon. Going to use examples from Jessie Cox, Michele Abondano, and Felipe Lara.

The second class is going to talk about how we can use aspects from r&b and the ballroom scene and apply them to bassoon and Hoenstly all instruments normally used in orchestral performance. Using examples from Jazmine Sullivan’s Heaux Tales, and videos from the Ballroom Vogue scene. Also gonna throw in a dash of how to integrate more Music created by Black people of music in pedagogy in to your long term practice.
