Vandever’s forthcoming album debuts her solo works for trombone, effects, and voice and is inspired by Hawaiian mythology, ephemerality, dreamscapes, and ancestry. Guidry’s Radical Acceptance tells a story of processing trauma, self-care, self-love, and finding hope for the future using improvisation, graphic scores, electronics, bassoon, gospel, and more.
